Mumbai Food Distribution: ROKAMASH Serves 450 Meal Packets

A wider outreach drive brings food and water support to hundreds across the city.

In a continued effort to fight urban hunger, ROKAMASH Foundation successfully distributed 450 fresh food packets and drinking water to vulnerable groups across Mumbai on Saturday. This initiative marked one of the organisation’s largest single-day distribution efforts for the month.

Early in the morning, volunteer teams began mobilising across the city, along with adjoining roadside communities and informal settlements. The expanded coverage ensured that meals reached senior citizens, labourers, children, and individuals with limited access to basic nutrition.

The prepared meal packets contained wholesome food designed to offer both energy and comfort to those struggling with daily hardships. Many beneficiaries expressed relief and gratitude as the distribution offered timely support during a difficult week marked by fluctuating employment opportunities.

“This is more than just a food drive—it’s a promise that we stand with our people,” shared a representative from ROKAMASH Foundation. “Our goal is to reach every corner of Mumbai where hunger still has a hold. Every additional packet distributed is a step toward that mission.”

ROKAMASH Foundation will continue expanding its outreach programs in the coming days, including clothing support, meal assistance, and educational initiatives for underprivileged children across the city.

Every act of kindness becomes fuel for someone’s strength, and together, we can carry hope further.

In Service to the Community,

ROKAMASH Foundation
