Continuing its weekly commitment to addressing food insecurity, ROKAMASH Foundation distributed 350 fresh meal packets and bottled drinking water across multiple locations in Mumbai on Saturday. The drive aimed to bring timely relief to individuals and families facing daily hardships in the city.
Volunteer teams strategically reached high-footfall areas around Mumbai’s railway stations, along with nearby settlements and roadside communities. The distribution was organised to ensure that meals reached those who often struggle to access consistent nutrition—daily-wage workers, seniors, women, and children.
Each packet contained a wholesome, freshly prepared meal designed to offer comfort and sustenance to people enduring long hours of labour and limited resources. Many beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, highlighting the difference a simple, reliable meal can make.
“We believe that dignity begins with access to basic necessities,” said a volunteer lead from ROKAMASH Foundation. “Every weekend, we strive to reach more people, because no individual in our city should be battling hunger alone.”
ROKAMASH Foundation plans to continue these weekly distribution drives, along with expanding its support projects focused on clothing assistance, education, and emergency relief efforts for underprivileged communities.
Small acts of care, delivered consistently, have the power to rebuild strength and restore hope.
